Not since 2016 has esports been included in the X Games. After a three-year hiatus, esports made a big return at the EXP Invitational at Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Twenty teams of three competed on August 2nd and 3rd for the top points. The Lazarus Apex Legends EU Team played a strong game and battled hard. The team made up of Finnish player Jame Trygg, “SmythJ”, and Portugese players Rafael Jesus, “Postkill”, and Francisco Alves, “K4shera”, all joined the Lazarus family in July.
Starting on Friday, August 2, and playing through Saturday, August 3, the trio secured a well-earned 10th final position and two-point finish. It was a tough battle that was well fought and marks a great return to the X Games for the esports community.
