Our CEO at Lazarus Esports, Charlie Watson, took the stage this week amongst the world’s most creative thought leaders at Elevate Festival 2022 in Toronto, Ontario.
Charlie joined a panel amongst fellow trailblazers and leaders who have pioneered the Canadian Esports industry alongside him, to discuss the evolution of esports and gaming both nationally, and globally.
The speaking panel highlighted some of the key obstacles already overcome across various spaces in the esports ecosystem in the past decade. Then further tackled the next challenges – and perhaps more importantly – the overwhelmingly positive opportunities for advancement and growth on the horizon for the future of esports within Canada and abroad, including industry-first brand integrations, champions of industry, ability to reach & retain the attention of key demographics, rapid adoption rates, and so much more in this continually evolving and adapting ecosystem.
